Welcome to the website where you get to learn all about me, Erin Wolf.
Well, that’s what I assume you’re here for anyway. It could be that you were searching for information on wolves or Ireland. I respect that. Wolves are terribly cunning creatures and having my name show up in crosswords from time to time is pretty cool. So, if you want to learn about them, here are a few websites you might have missed: Wolves Ireland
However, if, by chance, you are here to read about me, then you are in luck. Here I am!
Because we are meeting in this awkward way of computer technology, let me begin by telling you how flattered I am that you have put aside a small moment of your day to visit this site.
Since I do not want to waste our first meeting on too many jokes and formalities, I’ve already talked too long as it is, let’s cut to the chase.
My name is Erin Wolf and I am an author and a blogger. Also, I am a mother of two, an educator, a bartender, a banquet hall coordinator, comedian, actor, part-time soccer coach and horror film aficionado. So, unless you’re a curious student or a nosy bar customer (in which case, hi!) then might I make the bold assumption that you have visited this page to learn more about my professional resume.
It’s okay too if you just think I’m really interesting and want to follow my blog (in which case, hello to you also.).
AUTHOR

Erin Wolf has completed her first novel, FRENZY, which she is currently editing for submission.

*Other readers interested in following the progress of a first-time novelist, refer to the “Books” tab of this website to read a short synopsis of FRENZY and keep checking back for updates. And thank you as well dear reader for your interest!
Erin has written for many blogs over the years, including her own now defunct blog Nerdsburgh.com which followed trends in the ever-evolving nerd pop culture. She worked as a contributor for ParanormalPopCulture.com which included a weekly round-up of paranormal themed comics, interviews with paranormal experts and the occasional report documenting paranormal investigations. She has also contributed to HowardStern.com, the official website for the Howard Stern Show, as a freelance blogger and photojournalist.
*If you are interested in hiring Erin for freelance work please feel free to contact her. She is primarily interested in contributing content related to the horror genre, literature (horror and otherwise), nerd pop culture and bulldogs.
She loves the writing community (hello fellow authors!) and competes frequently in various writing challenges across the internet.
EDUCATION
Erin graduated with a B.F.A. in Theatre from the Conservatory of Performing Arts at Point Park University in Pittsburgh. She also attended Semester at Sea (Fall ’02 for any alums out there).
Erin is currently the Theatre Director and award-winning Head Forensics Coach at a small, private High-School in Atchison, KS.
BACKGROUND
Erin spent her formative years in Nashville, TN but has since lived in several cities including Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, East Stroudsburg, New York City and Atchison, KS where she currently resides with her adorable husband, two kids and bulldog named Coco. She is currently teaching her bulldog how to skateboard. If any of you would like to share tips, please feel free to do so. Or videos of bulldogs doing just about anything because they are so funny and I love them.
Interesting fact: Atchison is the birthplace of Amelia Earhart and has also been named THE most haunted city in Kansas.
Before she began the noble pursuit of the finished novel, Erin spent most of her time writing and performing one-woman shows about growing up in the South. Erin has written, directed and performed in three such shows that were produced at Fringe Festivals and unique theatre spaces across the country. Mary Beth Parker’s Big Jesus Tent Revival about a misguided southern debutante who decides to put on a revival to make friends, Mary Beth Parker’s Big Jesus Cabaret about a misguided southern debutante who decides to sing a myriad of pop songs to make friends and Can I Talk to a Manager? which is actually an anthology of three short pieces poking fun at the trials and tribulations of working in the service industry.
When not teaching, writing, directing, coaching, or parenting, she also likes to preform from time to time with Theatre Atchison.
