In her debut novel FRENZY, Erin Wolf combines the themes of “coming of age” with “government experimentation gone wrong.” She likes to think of her brand of writing as “small town horror.” Erin has always been a fan of the horror genre and in FRENZY, she includes all the essential elements of horror and doles it out with unbridled sadism upon the microcosm of a small community of innocent townsfolk.

Excerpt from FRENZY:
In the small town of Frazier Falls, Pennsylvania, life moves at a measured pace. Time holds no mystery, and the residents rather like it that way. Most folks in the Falls lead a life of expected oridinarity and predetermined eventuality. Everybody lives a clockwork existence, ticking happily from birthday to birthday in acceptable, predictable increments of time.

There is comfort in the sameness of such a town. Some people leave, folks that got ambitions elsewhere and whatnot, but most that stay remain for the familiarity that breeds in the tick-tock of a life that unfolds as it should, in a place called home, where nothing much happens otherwise.

However, the funny thing about inevitability is that it’s always inevitable. If you live in a town where nothing much happens, it might be that something is most certainly bound to happen…
